The WeChat public account “Lishui Economic Development Zone” pointed out that the total investment in the electronic wafer and epitaxial wafer manufacturing project of Vivotek Electronics is 5.5 billion yuan, of which the first phase investment is 500 million yuan, mainly for high-end electronic-grade semiconductor materials (8- 12-inch wafer) cutting, polishing, epitaxial and other materials research and development, manufacturing, and the production of third-generation compound semiconductor epitaxial wafers, the annual output value of 900 million yuan after the first phase of production.

According to the information from Tianyan, VIVOTEK is a semiconductor silicon wafer manufacturer engaged in the research and development, production and sales of semiconductor silicon wafers. Its main business is the research and development, manufacturing and sales of 6, 8, and 12-inch high-performance silicon epitaxial wafers. The main products of VIVOTEK include epitaxy on polished silicon wafers, buried epitaxy in the device process, and epitaxy in Cool MOS for power devices. At the same time, Vivotek will be engaged in the research and development and small batch production of silicon-based GaN and SiC epitaxy.

VIVOTEK was established in May 2020, the land was delisted in August, construction started in October, the main plant was topped out in March this year, and the interior installation began, and equipment was introduced in May…In just over seven months, the plant was built and the trial was started.
